Cancer Treatment & Oncology in India

Tumour-board reviewed cancer care: surgery, chemotherapy, IMRT and immunotherapy, planned as one costed pathway rather than a single procedure.

Starting from USD 3,000Every plan on our partner panel is confirmed by a multidisciplinary tumour board before treatment starts.

Cancer care is not one procedure but a sequence: staging scans, a tumour board decision, then some combination of surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and targeted or immune therapy. Costs should be quoted stage by stage, not as one number.

Ask for the staging investigations to be repeated or reviewed in India before treatment is finalised. It is common for a PET-CT and a fresh histopathology review to change the recommended plan, and that review costs far less than the wrong treatment.

Cancer Treatment & Oncology in India — frequently asked questions

Can I complete part of my treatment at home?

Often yes. Surgery and radiotherapy usually need to be completed in India, while later chemotherapy cycles can sometimes continue at home under a shared protocol. We ask the oncologist to state this explicitly in the plan.

How quickly can treatment start?

For most solid tumours, staging and the tumour board decision take three to five working days after arrival, with treatment beginning immediately afterwards.

Will my family be able to stay nearby?

Yes. For long radiotherapy courses we book serviced apartments with kitchens within walking distance of the cancer centre so attendants can cook to a restricted diet.
